A collaborative effort between The Artist Oliver James, Uneg, & Shifted Lens Theater Company, this mural represents the iconic comedy and tragedy masks. As in life, so in the performing arts, there is a wide range of emotions, including ups and downs, laughter and tears, happiness and sadness. Even with that wide range of emotions, life and the show must go on.

       

        UNEG, a graffiti artist and graphic designer from Mexico City, painted the bright and colorful foliage to bring cohesiveness, fullness, and life to the mural, along with the stencil-style portraits of a little boy displaying emotions of happiness and sadness, painted by The Artist Oliver James, a muralist and artist from Colorado. The artists hope that the mural brings together the Shifted Lens Theater Company and the local community for years to come. 

       

       Colfax Canvas is a social enterprise mural festival dedicated to providing a visual arts boundary of Aurora, Colorado's Arts District.
