I was commissioned by the Knollwood Association to paint an old community welcome sign.

 

      The backdrop to milkweeds this mural was perfect for a Monarch butterfly. The only request was that the mural be colorful, like Peter Max's paintings. With my three-layer stencil style and colorful background, I paired the butterfly with the most imaginative place on earth... at the tip of a child's finger.
